Vintage Mother's Day Card

Hello everyone!  Happy Wednesday!  Only two more days and the weekend will be here.  I had another card ready to show you today, but last night in my sleep no less, this idea hit me!

This is a photo of me and my mom when I was about 18 months old.  I immediately knew I wanted to use the Vintage Vogue stamp set.  The photo is sepia tinted, so it just lended itself to vintage.  Speaking of...., as I was making the card and thinking vintage, I thought to myself this photo is almost 50 years old.  Does that make me vintage????  I think it does!  I wasn't quite sure how to feel about that. I never considered myself old.  I guess if you don't think about it, you don't consider yourself vintage.  So, I think I'll just stick with the card being vintage, lol!  Since this photo was already sepia, I tried to keep the ink and card stock in the same "sepia" tones. The Vintage Vogue stamp set is one of my all time favorites.  I love, love, love it!
Here's my recipe:  (Items can be purchased by clicking here)
Ink:    Chocolate Chip, large flowers
          Close to Cocoa, smaller flowers
          Soft Suede, vines
Stamps:  Vintage Vogue, Well Scripted
Accessories:  Chocolate Chip satin ribbon, pearls
Tools:  Scallop Trim corner punch; oval nestabilities

I think I am going to put  this in some sort of vintage frame.  This will be a mother's day present for my mom.  Now, I'll have to make another one, because I want one!

Thanks for dropping by!

Blessings,

Terri
