Happiness Shared

Happy Friday everyone!  I am so excited.  Yesterday, I got my new order from Stampin' Up!  Woohoo!  It had soooo many goodies in it, I didn't know where to begin.  I eventually got it all put away, but I still have some organizing to do!

I actually started on this card yesterday morning, and just didn't seem to get anywhere.  Then, when my new goodies arrived, it was easy to finish.  When I started this card, I knew I wanted to use two different challenges, Techno Stamper's Monday Lunch Challenge (TSSC130) and Splitcoast Stamper's Ways to Use It (WT278) where you had to use the color yellow.   That was easy.  I love using yellow.  Then, Pals Paper Arts' challenge was to do something for a wedding.  I thought I might could incorporate that in this card and get three challenges in one.  However, I'm not quite sure I succeeded in this looking like a wedding card.  What do you think?
Here is my recipe:  This card is a 5x7
            Stamps:     Happiness Shared (flower)
                             Wedding Sweet (sentiment)
Paper:     Greenhouse Gala DP, Daffodil Delight, basic B&W
Ink:          SU Marker More Mustard, Black StazOn
Other:       Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, 1/8" Taffetta ribbon
                               in Daffodil Delight and Black
I only added a dash of color to the flower.  I didn't want to add any color that would take away from the monochromatic feel of it.  Thus, yellow only, or rather More Mustard.  I liked the way this color made it look a little darker and more dramatic.  I was really pleased with the way the card turned out.

If you haven't seen any of the new products, check them out HERE!  and get creative!

Blessings to you all!

Terri
