Mother's Day Cards

I told myself, "Today, I have to get Mother's Day cards made."  So, I did and they are even in the mail, YAY!.  I cased a card made by Sandee Shanabrough.  You can find her card HERE   Here are the two I made:

The card recipe is going to be a bit long.  I used stamps from three different companies.
 Stamps:
       Roses:  Rubber Stamp Tapestry
       Blessed Mother:  Stampin Up
       Mother:  Kitchen Sink Stamps
Paper:    Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz SU)
Ink:         Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery
OtherSpellbinders Label Seventeen
            Spellbinders Petite Ovals small
         Ribbon: Pretty in Pink
         Square Lattice EF, dimensionals
Technique Tips:
   -  The first layer of green is the certainly celery.  The second layer of green and which I used the Spellbinders Label Seventeen is Pear Pizzazz.  I also used dimensionals to pop this up.
   -  For the roses, I stamped once directly from the ink pad, and then stamped off twice more to get the color variations.
If you visit Rubber stamp tapestry's website (noted above) you can get great visuals on how to do this!

That's it for me today!
Blessings,
Terri
